NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Corey Sanders' mother says her son is not receiving the justice he deserves. The 21-year-old was shot and killed in September 2007 in northeast Nashville.

Police charged six men with murder and robbing him. Deaundra Smith and Devonta Cunningham are serving life in prison for planning the murder and pulling the trigger . William Davis is currently serving 20-years in prison.

In January, Ashton Gaines, Mychal Hendricks and Lance Featherston walked free, with served time and a plea agreement.

Sanders' mother, Lisa White, voiced her concern that day.

"It wasn't justice served today, because you put three violent men back out on the road," White said in January 2014 after court let out.

Today, White says she found out this week that Featherston went back to jail for domestic assault on March 6th this year, according Davidson County records.

The sheriff's office says Featherston is not in custody at this time.

White says, " He's a repeat offender. I was angry, I was hurt. All the feelings that I have had for the last seven years come back.. .I'm constantly looking over my shoulder.""

White says one of the co-defendant's family members threatened one of  her 12-year-old twin daughters , as they walked out of the courtroom this past January.

White says the woman told her daughter, " I know who you are, I know where you live. We will kill you."

Despite filing a police report, White says  the threats continued on Facebook and gang symbols sprayed on her street.

White's home is on Highland Drive, and her son was killed in the front yard. When White heard three suspects would be released, she decided to relocate temporarily for her security.

"I miss my home, but  I need to protect the kids that I have. I wish I could have protected Corey from these violent people and I couldn't. But I can protect the children I have now," said White.

Featherston is going to be back in court on May 15th for his domestic assault charge. Lisa White says she will go to every court date for him and others to protect her family and others.
