Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

A 26-year-old woman from Kettering, Ohio is facing charges of manufacturing meth and possession of drug paraphernalia after chemicals and syringes were discovered late Friday morning inside her room at an Elm Hill Pike hotel, according to a police press release.

A third party who visited Jessica Nichole Bennetts room Friday saw obvious signs of drug use and notified police.  Hermitage Precinct officers and narcotics detectives from the Specialized Investigations Unit responded.  In plain view, the release said there were syringes and a mason jar containing an unknown liquid.  Inside a guitar case were Coleman fuel and other items commonly used to make meth.

Bennett went through a decontamination process by the fire department before being taken to the jail for booking.  She is being held on a $30,000 bond.
