The Portland Press Herald reports Holly Morrison is accused of watching her boyfriend "use objects to assault the girl at least three times." Police became involved after the child told friends at school and a counselor about the assaults. The girl was also instructed to get in bed naked with the couple and shower with them according to an investigating detective.

Adding fuel to public outrage is that her boyfriend who allegedly committed the assaults was a former reserve police officer. He has already been sentenced to eight years in prison, four years to be served and another four years of probation.
