Hendersonville Police Seek Target Gift Card Scam Suspects

The Hendersonville Police Department has released photos of two women suspected of scamming Target out of thousands of dollars, according to a Thursday press release from the department.

The release said that on April 17 at around 5:30 p.m., two women entered the Hendersonville Target. It said the two women are suspected of being part of a group of thieves perpetrating a unique scam on Target stores throughout Middle Tennessee and in surrounding states.
The release did not provide details about the scam but said that the suspects allegedly left the store with several thousand dollars loaded onto an American Express gift card that they did not pay for.

Police also release a photo of the white car they are suspected to have driven.

Anyone with information which may help to identify these persons or which may be related to this crime is encouraged to call the Hendersonville Police at 615-822-1111 or the Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400. Tips may also be submitted anonymously by text to the number 274637 (crimes) using keyword TIPHPD.
