NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro police are investigating a home invasion in south Nashville where they found nine ounces of marijuana.

Five or six masked subjects are being sought after breaking into an apartment complex and threatening a man's girlfriend and child at the 3700 block of Natchez Court at around 12:30 a.m. Friday.  The individual the suspect was looking for, 30-year-old Tio Thompson, came out of a residence firing at least 10 shots into the wall, according to police, in defense.

The pot was separated in five mason jars, in plain view of police, according to the affidavit. The subject who fired the shots also used a stolen gun. He is in jail on $50,000 bond.

No injuries are reported.
