Pedestrian Killed in S. Nashville, Driver Charged with Vehicular Homicide

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A pedestrian is killed in south Nashville after being hit by a drunk driver.
The incident happened on the I-24 East entrance ramp at Harding Place at 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to Metro Police. The man, initially listed in critical, later died, according to Metro Police.
The driver of the car, 40-year-old Charles Farris, is being charged with vehicular manslaughter - intoxication, according to the police report. He is being held on $150,000 bond in the Davidson County Jail.
