Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Two People from Drug Trafficking Organization Arrested in Nashville for Money Laundering

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two people are arrested in Nashville for money laundering in a major drug investigation.

Taryn Austin, 28, and 26-year-old Kyle Fletcher are arrested by Metro Police Thursday afternoon. Police say they are involved in a drug trafficking organization that is responsible for distributing 300 lbs. of marijuana from California throughout Tennessee since 2010.

The marijuana being transported is considered high grade.

While Fletcher is in Metro Jail on $8 million bond, Austin has an $80,000 bond.
