Winter-Like Conditions Expected this Weekend

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend.  A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night.  Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area.  Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro.  Breezy NW winds will add to the chill.  Bring plants and pets indoors for the weekend and make sure outdoor vegetation is protected as well.In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Hendersonville High School Coach Arrested for Stealing; Wanted in Louisiana for Larceny-Meagan O'Halloran

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -- New information about the arrest of a mid-state coach. Hendersonville High School's wrestling coach  is charged with theft after allegedly misusing the school's credit card. We're learning this isn't the first time he's been in trouble with the law over something like this..

51-year old Coach William Lackey and his wife are actually wanted for larceny in Louisiana. Louisiana is a closed record state but how did Coach Lackey pass a background check with a warrant?      

Coach William Lackey posted bond out of the Sumner County jail Wednesday. The first year Hendersonville High School special ed teacher and wrestling coach is accused of using his school credit card. Lackey allegedly made several trips to Walmart and  bought himself  a gas grill, electronics, personal hygiene products, and cleaning products.The Hendersonville Police Department is calling it fraud.

Sumner County Schools caught the alleged bogus spending through a regular internal audit and turned the case over to police.
