A wintry mix is possible Thursday morning. It could cause minor problems in the morning commute. We're not expecting a lot of precipitation, but even a light drizzle with temperatures around the freezing mark could cause some slick spots.

Power Outages in Middle Tenn. Over 10,000

10pm update: Dickson Electric reports the number of residents without power is down to 6,400.

8:30pm update: Dickson Electric reports the number of residents without power is down to 7,800.

5pm update: Dickson Electric is reporting that about 9,000 Dickson County residents are still without power, and it may take three to four days before all service is restored. There are currently 12 crews out in Dickson County making repairs.

10am update: Dickson Electric is reporting that this morning's ice storm could be worse than the ice storm of December 2013. They expect restoration efforts to last for several days. NES at this time is reporting 5,100 outages, while MTEMC is reporting 691 outages and Cumberland Electric has 3005 customers without power.

Update: 9am: Dickson Electric reporting 200 separate outages totaling 10,000 customers without power. NES - 5,300. Cumberland Electric - 2,908. MTEMC - 841.

Update: 6:30am: Outages: NES - 3,578, Cumberland Electric - 4,209 and MTEMC - 900 in Williamson County. Dickson Electric at 2:30 a.m. reported about 4,000 outages.

Update: 4am: Between NES and Cumberland Electric, 10,000 customers are without power in middle Tennessee. NES: 3282. Cumberland Electric: 6725

Update: 3am: Crews working hard to get power back up, have cut number of outages down to 4,274. Bellevue still has about 1,000 without power, as does the Brentwood area.Goodlettsville has more than 800 outages and Joelton remains above 500.

According to Nashville Electric Service, more than 9,000 customers are without power as of 1:45 a.m. Monday. In Bellevue, 4,800 are without power around McCrory Lane and 3,500 are without power in the area of Memphis Bristol Highway. Also, over 1,600 customers are without power in Goodlettsville. Joelton has over 500 customers without power.
Crews are dispatched.

Cumberland Electric is reporting at 2 a.m. that 4,500 customers are without power in Cheatham County, Portland has 749 outages, Robertson County has 653, Montgomery County has 367 and Gallatin has 182.

MTEMC is reporting no outages.
