NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Four pedestrians are injured in downtown Nashville after being hit by an SUV.

Metro Police arrived on scene shortly before 3 a.m. at Broadway and 5th Avenue South, along with several ambulances. They say two men and two women went to the hospital after being hit. One woman is in serious condition. No one has life-threatening injuries.

The 29-year-old driver, a singer at one of the bars, is not facing any charges. Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Police believe the pedestrians walked out in the roadway without looking. They were also not in a crosswalk. They are reviewing surveillance video from a nearby business as part of their investigation.

The roadway reopened at 5 a.m.
