Freezing Fog Advisory for Middle Tenn. Extended

SKY WATCH WEATHER:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A freezing fog advisory is issued by the National Weather Service for the entire mid-state until 10 a.m.

Counties in the advisory are Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, Macon, Clay, Pickett, Houston, Humphreys, Dickson, Cheatham, Davidson, Wilson, Trousdale, Smith, Jackson, Putnam, Overton, Fentress, Perry, Hickman, Lewis, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Rutherford, Cannon, DeKalb, White, Cumberland, Bedford, Coffee, Warren, Grundy, Van Buren, Wayne, Lawrence and Giles. The Kentucky counties of Hopkins, Webster, Christian, Henderson, Daviess, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd and Perry are also expecting freezing fog.

Moisture may freeze on some of the roadways causing black ice. Melting snow and ice has the chance to refreeze.

Visibility may be 1/2 mile or less is some areas. Motorists should use caution on bridges and overpasses.
