BELLEVUE, Tenn. -- A man with a knife held-up a Bellevue convenience store, but on the way out did something odd.

At 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, the armed suspect entered the Twice Daily at 7201 Hwy. 70 South and demanded the money from the clerk, according to Metro police. He got away on foot, leaving muddy tracks, with the money from the register.

As the suspect walked out the door, he made an apology to the clerk for his action, police say.
