NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man is arrested this morning after crashing his car in a Madison yard.

At 11:30 p.m., Thursday, 34-year-old Antawan Fizer is arrested after flipping his car in a yard at the 400 block of Nesbitt Ln. Metro police attempted to pull over the driver for a traffic stop prior and did not pursue him because he was driving erratically.

Police received a call from the home where the car crashed a short time later. The homeowner said the driver left on foot.

Police had a helicopter out searching the area. The man was arrested after about 3 hours.

Fizer is charged with evading arrest, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended/revoked license. He's being held on $50,000 bond.
