Police Investigate Explosion in La Vergne

LA VERGNE, Tenn. - Right now an 18 year old man is facing endangerment charges after an explosion in La Vergne. It happened about 2 hours ago at a house on Lake Forest Drive. FOX17 talked to the Police Chief tonight who says the teen was mixing household chemicals, causing the small explosion. Witnesses told officers the man behind the explosion ran into the house and police officers found him hiding in some insulation. No one was hurt, but crews on the scene say things could have been a lot worse. Police are now working to disarm a 2nd device and say no one is in danger.
