Steer Clear Traffic Alert:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Three water main breaks overnight could affect your morning commute in Nashville.
Just before midnight, a water main break occurred in south Nashville at 1295 Antioch Pike where water flowed freely in the roadway. Then at 2 a.m., a water main break at 1101 Elm Hill Pike in Donelson occurred.
Metro Water crews are out working the incidents that are forming ice on the roads. It is not known at this time how many businesses or homes will be affected.
Also, at 5 a.m., Metro Police report a water main break in south Nashville on Thompson Lane between Louise Street and Nolensville Pike. This break is repaired, but the road remains wet and could refreeze.
This all follows numerous broken pipes and water mains yesterday when temperatures plummeted throughout Tennessee.
