Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- A bomb squad was sent to a home on Oxbow Drive in North Nashville after fireworks went off inside a homeowner's mailbox. A second incident on Marydale Drive occurred not too far from the first incident, in which a firework went off in that homeowner's yard.

There are no suspect as of yet, but if caught charges could be filed since a mailbox is considered federal property. According to the US Postal Inspection Service, defacing or destroying a mailbox can result in fines up to $250,000 or imprisonment for up to three years in jail for each act of vandalism.
