LEXINGTON, KY.-- A 75-year-old Lexington woman lost her home after the Neighborhood Association sold her house for not paying six-years worth of membership fees.

The six years of fees amounted to $125,000 and was enough for the association to foreclose on the home. For their part, the association allegedly sent Ingrid Boak multiple notices throughout the years but the senior citizen says she either never received them or didn't know what the notice meant.

Ingrid didn't walk away empty handed. She did receive $88,000 from the company which sold her home, but now pays rent to that same company in order to stay living at her residence.
