NASHVILLE, Tenn. - She's one of today's hottest pop stars. Miley Cyrus, who grew up in Franklin, is also one of the most controversial. The pop star will perform at Bridgestone Arena this Spring. She's already causing a buzz with a provocative billboard. Miley is one of dozens of artists using the electronic billboard to advertise an upcoming concert. Miley is becoming known for her signature pose with her tongue out. She's become notorious for provocative poses. A racy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards had fans and critics buzzing.

Miley performs at Bridgestone Arena this Spring, but her billboard is already raising eyebrows. It's a long way from her Disney image as Hannah Montana. The video for her latest single "Wrecking Ball" is risque, but the song and Miley's career are topping the charts. Long before the fame, Pastor Rick White baptized Miley at the People's Church in Franklin.
