NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office released some good news today, announcing they have arrested the world's most-wanted Christmas thief The Grinch.

According to the report, Grinch is 56-years-old, lives on Mount Crumpit near Whoville and had been hiding in the Montgomery County area with intent to steal Christmas trees, decorations and presents from local households.

But it's how the Montgomery Sheriff's office captured The Grinch which is turning heads. According to Sheriff John Fuson, officers were able to use The Grinch's best friend against him. After spotting the Grinch's dog Max at the dog park, officers fitted him with an "undetectable tracking device and audio receiver," allowing officers to record The Grinch confessing to his plans.
