NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Country singer Billy Currington is celebrating the success of the lead single off his 5th studio album "We Are Tonight". The album's first single "Hey Girl" made it to the top of the charts a couple months ago, marking the 8th number one hit of his country career. He celebrated this afternoon at CMA on Music Row. Currington says that he worked with 3 different producers on the album, and 3 different Nashville songwriters penned this particular song, so there is a lot of people to thank for its success. He says he's just happy that his fans love it as much as he does. The Georgia native says when he found out about the song topping the charts, he celebrated by catching a few waves. Currington is going to head out on tour this Spring with Chase Rice and Brett Eldredge.
