Washington,D.C--Doctors say there is a new therapy that shows great success in fighting cancer.

Researchers say they treated over 120 people with different types of blood cancer with incredible results. Some of the patients had bone marrow transplant and multiple chemotherapy without success.

During the therapy, blood cells are transformed into attack cells that can destroy the cancers. Once administered to the patients, the new cells replicate and spread.

Doctors say success could happen within a month. Many of the patients were really ill, however, after the therapy, the patients were in remission. Doctors say the therapy could be the first gene therapy approved by the United States.
