FOX NEWS-- The CEO for Daniel Defense, a brick-and-mortar store which sells firearms says the company's commercial advertisement created for the Super Bowl was turned down by the NFL.

CEO Marty Daniel says the company was careful to abide by the league's advertising policy when making the ad, yet still did not get approval.

According to the NFL's prohibited advertising policies, Daniel Defense fits the criteria necessary. "Firearms, ammunition or other weapons are prohibited; however, stores that sell firearms and ammunitions (e.g., outdoor stores and camping stores) will be permitted, provided they sell other products and the ads do not mention firearms, ammunition or other weapons.
