New Year's Eve "Bash on Broadway" Guidelines to Know

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The New Year's Eve "Bash on Broadway" event to be held downtown is expected to draw a record crowd. In addition to increased presence by Metro Police, and new rules in place for attendance, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office will also offer "Sober Ride" locations.

For those planning to attend, here are the new guidelines which will be enforced on New Year's Eve:


Permitted Items include:-          

Handheld, Personal-Sized Umbrellas (up to 36")-          

Personal cameras-          

Small bags and backpacks



Prohibited Items include:-          

No Outside Alcoholic Beverages. 

Only Alcoholic beverages purchased from a designated official event vendor are allowed on site-         

 No Illegal Drugs-          

No Fireworks-          

No Weapons or Dangerous Devices of Any Kind-          

No Laser Pointers-          

No Pets (except for service animals)-          

No Pop-Up Tents-          

No Beach or Pole-Style Umbrellas -          

No Wagons or Pull-Carts-          

No Audio Recorders, Video or Professional Cameras-          

No Unauthorized Vending or Solicitation-          

No Unauthorized Personal Transport Devices (Including Bicycles, Skateboards, Segways, etc.)-          

No Coolers-          

No Chairs of Any Type
