Spring Hill Community Rallies Around 6-Week-Old Boy

Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

SPRING HILL, Tenn.-- Six-week-old Corey Snyder suffers from a rare genetic condition which causes a number of problems, one of them being "clouds" over his eyes.

Corey has just partial vision in his left eye and a specialist in Boston is planning to perform a cornea transplant so he might be able to see. However, travel and treatment are a tremendous expense on Corey's parents Christine and Dave.

The community has decided to rally around the family, holding a bake sale today (Friday) at 6pm at the Refuge Church located at 2001 Campbell Station Pkwy. People can also donate to the cause via PayPal by visiting www.facebook.com/careforcoreysnyder.
