NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tomorrow Hard Rock Cafe hosts a marathon and half marathon in Nashville. It could affect how you get around tomorrow. The corner of Broadway and First Avenue closed earlier tonight around 5pm. Tomorrow that is where both races will begin at 7am. Marathon runners will follow a course through downtown then up into the Belmont area. Once they reach Belmont, the runners will head back through downtown, and then head over into East Nashville past Shelby Park, and turn around at Shelby Bottoms green way and head back downtown. Marathon crews will be working throughout the night to close streets along the route.

We don't want you to be caught off guard, so on our website, we have put when each street will be closed and when marathon organizers expect to reopen those streets. Just CLICK HERE. All of the other closed roads except for Broadway and First Avenue should be reopened by 4pm. That's because they will be having a post-marathon block party.
