Deadline for fixing Obamacare site looms

WASHINGTON, D.C. - We're hours away from the deadline for Healthcare.gov to work. As FOX's Michelle Macaluso shows us, the Obama Administration is already downplaying its progress. The Obama Administration says they have made significant progress when it comes to fixing glitches to the federal healthcare website, after its failed launch 2 months ago. However, the Department of Health and Human Services is now dialing back expectations. The Administration also announced that small businesses will not be able to enroll online until this time next year, forcing them to use other methods to sign up like phone and mail. This move has outraged Republicans who have been pushing for a delay of the entire Affordable Care Act. In a statement, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH 8th District) wrote: "It's another broken promise and more proof this Administration's assurances have no credibility. This law has been an absolute disaster, leaving us to ask 'what's next?'"

President Obama says his signature law is already helping millions of Americans get affordable health coverage. The White House says by this weekend Healthcare.gov should handle 50,000 users at once and more than 800,000 visitors a day.
