NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Nashville apartment building went up in flames with temperatures in the mid-20s.

The two-alarm fire occurred at a building at The Arbours of Hermitage, 6001 Old Hickory Boulevard, at around 2:45 a.m. The primary fire began in building 51.

No injuries are reported.

The Nashville Fire Department says 10 units are affected. The Red Cross is assisting the dozens of displaced residents. Many of the people lost everything they own. "We don't have anything. Any money, or credit cards, debit cards, check book, everything is just gone," says resident Penney Simpson.

Flames and heavy smoke were visible when the fire department arrived on scene. They did not have any problems fighting the fire with the frigid temperatures.

The cause is under investigation. This is the third major fire in the last seven years at the apartment complex.
