NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Prospects that Titans Quarterback Jake Locker could start Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers are looking up now.
An insider for the NFL Network says that the Titans expect Locker to start, barring a late setback.
Locker, who practiced Friday, was carted off the field with knee and hip injuries in a game against the New York Jets three weeks ago. Coach Mike Munchak said then the team hasn't decided whether Locker or Ryan Fitzpatrick starts.
General manager Ruston Webster also expressed optimism during his weekly radio show that Locker could play Sunday.
