Strip Club Offers Free Admission to Furloughed Workers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - If you work for the federal government you can get into a Nashville strip club for free. Businesses across the country are stepping up, giving "furlough freebies" to help government workers during the shutdown.That includes  DeJa Vu, which just announced its offering free cover for federal workers to get into the strip club throughout the duration of the shutdown. Automakers like Hyundai are also helping. The company is offering furloughed workers the chance to defer their car payments until they receive a paycheck again.

"I'm sure there's families out there that are depending on salary. I'm depending on mine as well but at least i don't have little mouths to feed" said furloughed worker Gennifer Williams. Williams just moved here from Houston. She took a pay cut and was on the job for just three months when she was furloughed as an accountant for the Department of Health and Human Services.
