MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Police recovered more than $250,000 worth of stolen property in Rutherford County.

Sheriff Robert Arnold says the theft ring is one of the largest in recent history in the county and the value of recovered property may be higher than any other in years. Skid loaders, farm tractors, riding lawn mowers, four-wheelers, a tiller and an air compressor, were recovered.

Additional property is expected to be recovered in the coming days.
Police obtained a warrant to search 1398 Cranor Road in Murfreesboro and found the property stolen out of five counties. James Allen Presley, 36, of Bradyville Pike, is charged with theft. He is being held for Cannon and Coffee counties.

Property in the investigation came from Rutherford, Cannon, Wilson, Williamson and Coffee counties and stored the stolen items in Rutherford County.
