Vanderbilt Student Robbed by Two Armed Men

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Vanderbilt student reported being robbed off-campus overnight.
The student tells university police that he was walking on 19th Avenue South near Edgehill Avenue at around 1 a.m. Wednesday when two men jumped out of the bushes and approached him, each pointing a handgun. They instructed the victim to get on the ground, then pushed him down.
The gunmen took the students backpack and laptop, before running away from the campus.
The suspects are described as approximately 20 years of age, between 510 to 511 in height, and approximately 160lbs - 170lbs in weight.  One suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt with a large Under Amour logo on the front of the hoodie and long pants. The second suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark short pants.
