Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- Metro Parks is asking for your help in finding the perfect tree to put up for the city's holiday celebration and Mayor's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The lighting ceremony will take place at Public Square Park on Friday, December 6th at 6:30 pm.

Metro is looking for a 30 to 40-foot Norway Spruce. The hope is to find one from Davidson County. If one is found, the department will cut it down, remove the stump and replace it with another tree.

Residents can call or email Metro's Horticulturalist Randall Lantz at 862-8400 or reach him via email at Randall.Lantz@nashville.gov.
