Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Proclaiming it a "great day" to live in Georgia Governor Deal signed a controversial gun bill into law.

But opponents call it "dangerous decision."

Under the new law, licensed gun owners are able to bring their weapons into bars, as long as the owner agrees.

They're also be able to carry firearms into government buildings, and will be given more leeway at the airport.

Churches and schools have the choice to opt in or not.

Georgia's new gun law goes into effect July 1st.
