The Obama Administration denying more Freedom of Information Act requests than ever before.

Last year, the administration cited a number of legal exceptions to keep from releasing the requested information. It also took longer to answer requests that previous years.

Looking at all the FIOA requests during the President's time in office, the number of denied requests continues to steadily climb. In 2008, the Obama administration denied 578,172 requests. Last year, his administration denied 678,391 requests.
