Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Woodbury Mayor Says Electrical Problem Caused Massive Fire

New information Tuesday morning about the fire that destroyed several businesses in downtown Woodbury.

The city's mayor Harold Patrick tells Fox 17 the blaze was sparked by an electrical problem in a consignment shop on Main Street. 

Luckily no one was hurt but mayor Patrick has great sympathy for the businesses affected.

Mayor Patrick calls the fire a major setback for the city and business owners are still cleaning up.  But Woodbury's November open house will go on as scheduled.
