Elisabeth Armstrong is a reporter and and fill-in anchor for FOX 17 News This Morning. She joined the news team in December of 2017. Before moving to the "Music City," Elisabeth worked as a General Assignment Reporter and Fill-in Anchor for KATV in Little Rock.
While at KATV, Elisabeth covered several major stories including: Executions at the Cummins Unit in March of 2017 - the highest volume of scheduled executions in modern day history, the mass shooting at the Power Ultra Lounge Nightclub shooting which left 25 people injured, and the 2016 elections where she reported on the RNC and local races, as well as hosting and coordinating "Coffee with the Candidates" for Daybreak. She has traveled to San Diego, Denver, and Branson covering stories, in addition to filing live reports for national and international television news stations. Prior to working in Little Rock, Elisabeth was a Morning News Anchor for KETK in Tyler, TX
Elisabeth graduated with University Honors from Colorado Christian University, earning degrees in political science and philosophy. She is currently pursuing her masters of science in bioethics from Columbia University, and also has her certificate in paralegal studies from the University of Colorado Denver. She is currently on staff at the academic journal "Voices in Bioethics." In her spare time, Elisabeth loves to volunteer, play the piano, visit museums, and try new restaurants.
