"If you don't know where you're going, then you'll never know if you've gotten there." Those are words to live by for A.J. Hilton, who joined Fox 17 in June of 2016.
A.J. has been fortunate to cover an array of stories in his career; that includes accompanying World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., showcasing one of the largest yak farms in North America, covering the return of FAMU's famed Marching 100, and getting the inside scoop on solving a Rubik's Cube in under a minute.
He started his career in the Twin Cities after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism and mass communication.
He landed his first television job in Greater Minnesota. That was followed by stops in Lansing, Michigan, where he worked as both a reporter and anchor, and in Tallahassee, Florida, where he was the evening anchor. His work has also been recognized by the Associated Press.
When he isn't working, you can find A.J. crate digging for records, taking in movies with his wife, and exploring new foods and places.
A.J., his wife, and their pup are happy to call the 'Music City' home.
