SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) -- Sam Slaughter homered twice and drove in six runs to help Canada beat Nashville, Tennessee, 12-9 in a consolation game Tuesday at the Little League World Series.

The catcher hit three-run homers in the first and fifth innings, while third baseman Blake Money hit a solo shot in the fifth.

Canada scored five runs in the sixth inning, but its comeback came up short as it entered trailing by eight, but it only scored five runs.

Both teams Little League World Series' runs come to an end, as they were both eliminated from contention last Saturday.
