Preds' Ryan Johansen out for remainder of postseason after thigh injury

Nashville Predators' Center Ryan Johansen will be out for the remainder of the postseason after suffering a thigh injury in Thursday night's game.

Johansen was injured in Game 4 vs. the Anaheim Ducks at Bridgestone Arena.

The team said Johansen had successful emergency surgery. His recovery time is an estimated 2 to 3 months.

The Preds fell to the Ducks in overtime on Thursday. The series is now tied 2-2.

The smooth forward leads the Predators with 13 points in 14 playoff games while centering their top line with Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson.

Johansen scored 61 regular-season points to match Arvidsson for the team lead.
