Tennessee Burgers

 

2 pounds Hamburger meat

1 pound Ground Tennessee Sausage (use the bulk sausage roll like Odom’s in Spicy, Mild or Sage)

¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce

Cracked Black Pepper

1 teaspoon chopped Garlic

Non-stick spray (Pam)

Jack Daniel’s Barbeque Sauce

Orange Tomatoes

Onion Buns

 

Combine Hamburger and Sausage with Worcestershire, Pepper and Garlic.  Roll into fist-sized balls and chill to firm texture.  Once chilled, place one ball in the center of a dinner plate that has been coated with non-stick spray.  Also spray the backside of a salad plate with the non-stick spray.  Using the backside of the salad plate, mash down on the ball to form a patty.  Grill or fry the patties until done.  Serve on Onion Buns with Jack Daniel’s Barbeque Sauce and Orange (Volunteer-colored) Tomato Slices.  Other accompaniments as desired.
