American Idol
The 10th season of "American Idol" kicks off tonight, and some people's
lives will be changed forever. Former "Idol" finalist Mandisa Hundley
knows the feeling. The 2-time Grammy nominee finished in the top 10 in
2006, the year Taylor Hicks won, and now plans to release her 3rd gospel
album April 5, called "What If We Were Real".
But as it turns out, her biggest life change came after the show. She
embarked on an emotional weight loss journey 2 years ago and has since
lost 90lbs. Mandisa's weight struggles have fueled her new music. She
says this has turned into what she calls the most honest album she's
ever recorded.
