American Idol
The top
40 American Idol finalists are in Las Vegas, rolling the dice, performing in
front of an audience in the love theater at the mirage hotel, and this week,
the first 10 girls sing first, then 10 of the guys take the stage Thursday with
5 eliminated each night.
American Idol Judge Nicki MINAJ says: “I don't really like
that process because these are the best of the best and right now they are all
top in my head.”
American Idol Judge Mariah Carey says: “ I can't imagine how
tough it's going to be to have to eliminate 5 super talented contestants.”
American Idol Judge Keith Urban says: “They've made it this
far to the top ten. They're already exceptional so they know we're letting five
exceptional people go.”
Already touted as one of the
strongest group of gals heard in a while, the judges have their work cut out
for them, making the decision who moves on and who goes home.
American Idol Judge Randy Jackson says: “I think the girls
are so strong, they bring charisma, they have a core sense of style. They have
those three things you really look for - unbelievable talent, uniqueness and some
star potential.”
sudden death rounds continue to narrow the field, standing out is tough.
Urban says: “You can have a great voice and mimic somebody
but there's no heart in that. I'm just waiting to see and hear that thing that
makes them unique.”
