Miranda Lambert is using Dickson, Tn as the backdrop for her new music video.
Her
entire camp was totally "hush" about the video shoot. Nothing was
released about her taping in Middle Tennessee, but twitter and facebook
started blowing up on Wednesday night, after her first day of taping for
"Fastest Girl In Town"

No one would give us any details, just
that Miranda is very hands on when it comes to concepts for her videos
and that in this case, a nascar celeb was on site shooting with her!

"It
was Miranda's idea to have a NASCARdriver in video. Danica Patrick is
her costar and buddy in the video, without giving the concept away" says
director Trey Fanjoy.

Lamberts scenes were shot yesterday, following a long hot day, she tweeted that she thinks this may be her best video yet.


    The battle between Curb Records and Tim McGraw continues. 
A ruling in favor of Curb was handed down in Nashville Thursday.   
A
judge granted Curbs request to postpone the trial expected to begin
next month. Curb says they need time to gather additional evidence
surrounding Big Machine signing McGraw last month.
Curb music
believes that McGraw is still technically under their label because he
did not deliver his fifth option period album and that the new music
being advertised by Big Machine is still owned by Curb Records.

   
As Fox 17 told you Wednesday night, reports were starting to surface
that Kellie Pickler parted ways with her label Sony. Sony has yet to
comment, but Kellie's reps released a statement saying that her contract
was up and that the split was mutual. The news comes on Kellie's 26th
birthday.

      The surviving Jackson brothers are re-uniting
for their "Unity Tour". They had a stop scheduled in Nashville in July
but the show has been cancelled.
The Ryman says the only reason management gave was "scheduling conflicts"
No word on if or when the show may be re-scheduled.
