Fans have come from as far away as Europe and New Zealand to see their favorite stars. We won't know how many foreign fans made the trip until next week, but there are fans here from 23 different countries, including a couple we met up with tonight from Scotland. Karen and Phil Currans are visiting from Glasgow. They are touring the United States and, being big country music fans, they made it a point to stop in Nashville to buy a cowboy hat and enjoy the CMA Music Festival.

"My friend got me into country music, she likes Martina McBride and I watch them on AMERICAN IDOL as well," says Karen. "I like Carrie Underwood and some of the newer ones."

"I like the party and the drinking," says Phil. "The heat not so much, but the party is the best thing."

They say Scotland does have one country music station, and would you believe it actually has its own Grand Ole Opry as well, for fans to enjoy country music! The Currans haven't visited ours yet, so they weren't able to tell us what's different.CMA Brings Fans to Nashville from Across the Globe
