Traffic Alert for CMA Awards in Downtown Nashville
There will be some changes in traffic in downtown Nashville as the city prepares for the CMA Awards on November 11. The awards will take place from 7pm-10pm at the Sommet Center.
Here are the traffic alerts from CMA officials:
Sunday, Nov. 8
Beginning at 6:00 AM, Demonbreun will be closed between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
Beginning at 10:00 AM, Fifth Avenue South will be closed from Franklin Street to Broadway.
Also at 10:00 AM, the closure of Demonbreun will expand from Fourth Avenue to Sixth Avenue.
Beginning at 3:30 PM, additional road closures include: Clark Place between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue; Sixth Avenue between Broadway and Peabody Street; Franklin Street between Fourth Avenue and Sixth Avenue; and the Demonbreun closure will expand to include the blocks between Fourth Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
All roads will re-open no later than 2:00 AM on Thursday, November, 12, except Demonbreun between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue, which will re-open at 6:00 PM.Traffic Alert for CMA Awards in Downtown Nashville
