Spring Hill Mayor Shows Support for GM Workers-Erika Lathon
The mayor of Spring Hill has not only lobbied to keep UWA jobs in Tennessee, now he's working the assembly line.
In three weeks the Spring Hill Plant which builds the Chevy Traverse will watch those jobs move to a plant in Michigan.
Last week Mayor Michael Dinwiddie began working on the assembly line to show his support.
Dinwiddie says he wanted to know first hand what goes on inside the plant as he works to bring future jobs to the site.
The Spring HIll Plant is scheduled to go on standby mode on November 25th.
