Fans React To Titans Win- Cindy Carter
victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Thousands poured into LP Field hoping the Titans luck would change.
Many felt switching quarterback Kerry Collins for Vince Young could do the trick. Prior to kick-off, fan Mark Macdonald predicted, "If he (Young) gets off to a good start. I think the Titans will be fine and I think they're going to win today more than a touchdown."
The Titans were the first to score with a field goal on their opening drive. Shortly after, fan Todd Goodman said, " I think they should have stuck with Kerry... but you know they're doing.. 3 to nothing.. they're winning." However, Goodman and fans grew more excited as Young made play, after play, after play.
In fact, most fans were on their feet by the time the game ended. Debbie Fields said of the victory, " I think its great. I think it was time for a change. I'm loving it. Loving it."
Fan, Mason Holmes felt Vince Young was key to the win. "Vince Young definitely. I think with him and Chris Johnson in the back field together.. defenses just don't know how to plan for that so, defense was plain great.. so it was a good game. Awesome game"
