WBFF Fox 45 :: Drummer for Country Star Kellie Pickler Listed in ICU After Car Crash
Fox 17 News has learned Goodlettsville resident and drummer for country
music star Kellie Pickler was seriously injured in a car accident
Saturday afternoon near Louisville, Kentucky. According to a source
close to drummer Lohman remains in critical condition at a Louisville
hospital. Lohman`s vehicle was hit by a freight truck as he was slowing
for an accident in the northbound lane in Elizabethtown, Ky. Two other
cars were also involved in the crash.

Sunday afternoon Pickler issued a statement on both her Facebook and Twitter pages.

"Yesterday, my drummer Gregg Lohman was in a horrific car accident & is currently in ICU. Gregg is not just my drummer, he is family. I believe in miracles & the power of prayer, so it would mean the world to me, my band, & Gregg's family if you would please keep him in your prayers."

Gregg Lohman began playing with the Pickler in 2006, according to his Facebook page. Lohman received a Master of Music of the University of Tennessee in 2000. In addition to performing with the American Idol finalist Lohman is anAdjunct Percussion Instructor at Tennessee State University. Houston brother will be his own attorney in court

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Roane County man will face federal gun violation charges next month without an attorney.

The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/17VlXpM ) reported Rocky Joe Houston will represent himself on a charge of possession of a gun by a felon.

The charge came after Houston earlier represented himself in state court on charges stemming from a police chase. He was convicted of evading arrest and reckless endangerment.

Houston and his brother, Leon Houston, were tried, but not convicted, in the 2006 shooting deaths of a Roane County deputy and his ride-along companion.

In federal court, Rocky Joe Houston is claiming the officer who charged him with the felony had no legal authority.
