60-year old Eddie Pillow was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center and is currently in stable condition.
Eddie Pillow told responding deputies that his younger brother, 58-year old Stanley Pillow shot him.
The Maury County Sheriff's Department launched a search for Stanley Pillow after 7:30pm Wednesday night before it all came to an end more than four hours later.
Stanley Pillow surrendered near a wooded area off Hampshire Pike with his hands up while Fox 17 was there with our cameras rolling.
Authorities found the gun they believe Stanley Pillow used to shoot his brother. Police say this isn't the first time they've been called to break up a fight between the two.
"As a matter of fact, two nights ago we were out here. It was a situation where one was threatening the other with a knife, so that was just two days ago. So here we are again with a shooting" said Sheriff Enoch George.

BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (AP) -- With Afghan troops increasingly leading combat operations on the ground, the Afghan Air Force's fledgling helicopter fleet based in Kabul has learned new techniques to support them from the air.
The U.S. Army's 101st Combat Aviation Brigade started a new training program at Bagram Air Field for Afghan helicopter pilots to learn how to perform air assault missions, which they have started to use in combat operations.
101st Combat Aviation Brigade Commander Col. Paul Bontrager said the Afghans need to be weaned off American aviation during the drawdown of U.S. forces this year.
The ability of Afghan helicopters to quickly drop soldiers into combat is a new and critical role.
