A Metro Nashville vice principal was arrested for a 2nd offense DUI last night in Antioch, according to police reports.
Shannon Hill, 37, was booked into Davidson County Jail at 10 p.m. on Sunday after running a red light at Tusculum and Blue Hole roads, according to the affidavit obtained by FOX 17 News. Hill then failed two DUI tests after police smelled alcohol.
Police paperwork lists Hill's occupation to be at Jones Paideia, a magnet elementary school at 1800 9th Avenue North. According to the school's website, Hill began working for MNPS schools in 1998 as an in-school suspension monitor.
Hill fought off attempts when officers tried to handcuff him, but with extra force authorities were able to secure him.
Hill was convicted of DUI last year, according to police. His license is still revoked.

Former Dyer County constable sentenced to prison
May 23, 2013 12:50 GMT

DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) -- Former Dyer County Constable Derick Shane Hundley has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison.

The State Gazette (http://bit.ly/14UHydd ) reported Hundley was sentenced Monday after earlier entering a guilty plea to enticement of a minor through electronic means. The government dropped a child pornography count.

Prosecutors said Hundley, who is 30, used a cellphone to try to entice a minor female to have sex with him. Police arrested Hundley last July and found an external hard drive that contained numerous images of minors involved in sex. He resigned from the constable post he had won in 2010 after his arrest.
